Using a positive approach the video aims to show the range of the syndrome from mild through moderate to severe developmental delay. Written, produced and directed by a parent of a child with the syndrome it was filmed over four years and follows the lives of four children with Cri du Chat. It looks at diagnosis and its impact, early intervention, education, therapy, speech, family and support networks and the future. Interviews with parents, geneticists, educationalists and therapists are included.
